Today, I had the honor of being featured in The Fordham Institute’s Flypaper Blog commenting on the recent Virginia Governor’s race and what it means for the future of education policy. I argue that our education agenda “must be more than manufacturing outrage and creating the false narrative that all schools and school systems are primarily focused on pushing liberal ideology over academic outcomes. If that’s what we stand for, we are missing an enormous opportunity to deploy our actual political power to change the trajectory of an entire generation and the country that it will inherit.”
